 During your stay you
can enjoy many activities in the Twin Lakes area. Mountain biking, rafting, boating, fishing,
and jet skiing are all activities that visitors enjoy
during their
stay at Ores & Mine. 
Hike Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highest peak, the trail head
is only 2 miles away. There are also many jeep trails in the area for
great scenic and fun filled adventures.
Take a trip over Independence Pass to get breathtaking
views of the colorful colorado scenery. The pass is open from late
spring to early winter.

Ores & Mine is also centrally located with great access to some of the areas best ski resorts.

How can I tell you what a wonderful and healing time I had in
the Doris Mine of your truly golden mine?! It was so serene and so beautiful
that my whole
mind and body fells better today. I enjoyed every single minute,
every single bite, every single laugh, every single bump over the ice on
