The Mt. Champion Mill processed ore from one of the most famous mines in the
Leadville area.

A piece of the massive equipment used at the Mt. Champion: a jaw crusher, or all that
remaims of it, found on the top level of the mill in 1972.
A section of the 6,100 foot long aerial tramway that connected The Champion Mine
with the lower mill. Miners routinely rode the swinging one-ton buckets to and from
